The ECOMI Discord Server is officially live, and will serve as the new community hub for all things ECOMI and OMI tokens moving forward. We are incredibly excited to create this space for everyone to come together, share their knowledge, and experience all this community offers. Through the ECOMI Discord, you can communicate with our social team, participate in events and giveaways, access community perks, and be the first to receive our announcements and updates.
What is the ECOMI Discord Server For?
The ECOMI community stretches across the globe, and we want to ensure that we can communicate effectively with as many of you as possible.
While we have previously used Telegram for this purpose, it is not the most suited to a large audience. It can be difficult to segment information and provide relevant/timely updates, and it is easy to miss questions or suggestions coming our way.
Moving forward, the ECOMI Discord Server will act as our new community hub, and as our community and social capabilities continue to grow, will give us a much more stable foundation to communicate and share information with you all while giving everyone in the Fam a safe space to communicate with each other.
With this in mind, the official Ecomi Telegram channel will be phased out over the coming months, and we look forward to welcoming all our existing members into the ECOMI Discord server.
Getting Started with Discord
If you haven’t used Discord before, you can download the app to your computer or log in through a web browser.
Then, once you have created your account, be sure to add 2-factor authentication and update your security settings before joining the ECOMI Discord Server to prevent unwanted parties from contacting you in the future.
This will also help eliminate spam and any other malicious activities from external servers you may join and ensures that only the people you choose to add as a friend on Discord can contact you.
You can do this by opening your user settings > privacy and safety and then unchecking the option to ‘allow direct messages from server members.’

Once you have your Discord account created, you can join the ECOMI Discord server here 👈
Upon entry, you must pass a quick verification to confirm that you are a real person. Then, please read the #welcome and #rules channels to get started, or use the discord-index channel for a quick tour before brushing up on the latest OMI info in the #omi-101 channel.
When you’re ready- jump into the #ecomi-fam channel to get to know the ECOMI community, or drop an OMI motto in the #ecomi-checkin channel to receive OMI arcade coins, which can be redeemed for other rewards!
OMI OG’s
If you’re one of the first 1,000 people to join and interact with the #welcome channel, you will receive a special “Ecomi OG” Discord Badge 🏆
OG status has a few added perks within the server and members of the ECOMI Telegram Community or VeVe Discord Server can also apply to receive OG status as recognition for their support.
Once you join the ECOMI Discord server, you can submit a support ticket via the #infra-red channel. Follow the steps to complete the ticket, and wait for approval to receive your respective “OG Badge,” which may vary depending on which platform you came from. A limited number of badges can also be redeemed using OMI Arcade Coins, but you’d better be quick to claim one!

Welcome to the Team!
The expansion of the ECOMI social team continues with the launch of the Discord server, and we hope you all join us in congratulating and welcoming @WildHare to the ECOMI team, who will be joining as the server manager.
Many of you will know WildHare from his time in the VeVe Discord server, and we thank him for the tireless hours spent building and contributing to our collecting community. He will now be responsible for the upkeep of the ECOMI server and managing our team of community moderators to ensure someone is always available to assist with your questions.
If you have any suggestions, feedback, or requests for new channels and features, you can also pass them to him through our moderators.
WildHare joins our latest recruit and ECOMI community manager- Foster Hilt- on the social team, and we are excited to see them work together to refine our communications and expand our community capabilities. Both will be available in the server to share our latest updates and information or answer any questions.
